Habitat is a property management system: recurring billing, document storage and scheduling, so rent, leases and viewings don’t depend on a filing cabinet or someone’s memory.
What it does
- Properties & units Keep each property and its units in one record, with the landlord’s company details attached.
- Leases & tenants Create a lease for a unit and a tenant, with its start date, rent and an end date if it has one. Each lease shows whether it’s active, starting soon or ended.
- Recurring billing Put rent, service charge and insurance on a schedule for each lease, from weekly to yearly. Add one-off charges by hand, and turn a lease’s unbilled charges into an invoice when you’re ready.
- Lease documents Upload signed tenancy agreements and other files to the lease they belong to, so they’re not sitting in an inbox or a shared drive.
- Viewings Book viewings against a unit and mark each one completed or cancelled. Viewings in the next 30 days show on the dashboard.
